Hurricane Matthew Update
The graveness of the situation in the south-western tip of Haiti is increasing. We are continuing our work in the Port de Piment and Les Anglais areas. We have received word from beyond where we are able to reach that they are claiming up to forty percent of the people in the villages have cholera. There are several villages where the food supply is exhausted. There are groups of 20-25 yr. old males streaming out of these places on foot through cholera-infested water to bring this word. We, our group of 20-25, with one skidloader and manpower are still the first ones into each zone. We are providing road access for Doctors without Borders, Samaritan’s Purse, and water purification groups. We covet your prayers for the safety and well-being of each of our workers. Please lift heavenward all of the Haitian folks in these areas.
